Connecting and giving back to the community has always been important to me. I think back on my Eagle Scout project where I collected brand new boots and filled them with personal hygiene items. On Christmas day, I handed them out at the Travelers Aid Society as Christmas gifts and have never seen so many happy, grateful, thankful, and hopeful individuals in my entire life. Words cannot describe the gratification I felt.
